The Lunk Alarm - Planet Fitness sucks!

2020-10-22 at 9:53 PM UTCI was lifting the heaviest weights I could find at planet fitness, in the zone working up a good sweat with my shirt off and then out of nowhere I hear WOOOOOOOOOOO WOOOOOOOO The god damn LUNK ALARM it was flashing a bright blue light, I had no idea what the hell was going on I thought I popped a fucking blood vessel in my brain.
Then staff walks up and starts talking shit saying I have to leave now or they will call the police. I had no idea what was going on, was still trying to catch my breath and drink some water and these women got all up in my face saying I was disrespecting their policy. They revoked my membership and told me never to come back
I thought they were having one of those feminine episodes so I got out of there. Went home and googled "lunk alarm" and this is the dumbest fucking thing i've ever seen in my life, had no idea this existed.
I was barely even grunting and yeah I was dropping the weights all over, it's what I do. I guess it's against policy to be too fit at planet fitness, more like planet fat ass. -

Bro its annoying to people I guess. I would sit in the bathroom at 24 laughing everytime someone would drop a ton of weights all the way on the other side of the building. it's loud af and the floor vibrates. feels like an small earthquake
it only happens with free weights though. -
2020-10-25 at 2:33 PM UTCthe thing is someone could seriouslly have a heart attack for having their alarm go off. they should get on the PA and just say loud enough but not at an "Alarming" pitch that Lunking is not allowed. DO NOT DROP THE WEIGHTS
then see where it goes from there. having a fucking alarm go off like that could stop even a young persons heart.
makes me wonder if basketball players have heart failure becuase of the loud timed out buzzard goes off -

2021-03-18 at 6:47 AM UTCyeah opey i feel you , i used to be a member of a planet of fitness to use their showers and then i moved away but you cant call them to cancel your membership.. when you joined this one you sign up saying that you can only cancel it by mail to this one specific cancellation address using the proper forms, theres a whole website that offers a service of you pay them like 20 dollars ot cancel your shitty gym membership and thats what i did and you know what it worked easier than collecting stamps and getting your papers endorsed by the proper officials.
but open now thinking back i should have tried to grunt and clank some iron maybe they would have saved me some time but you know what its true what they say
