As an artiste and a writer, how do you deal with this kind of stuff? There is nothing to deal with it because he literally could not have read it.
Frankly I don't really care about it. It's the first time I ever considered writing and it was more or less just practice of the process. I finished the book in a matter of weeks/days with zero editing. I know it isn't good, but I also know nobody who says they have read it has actually read it. The excerpt linked in that thread is what I sent Panthrax, who also claims he has read the whole thing. But again, I have access to the sales records.
This was also in 2015. 5 years ago. You know what else I started doing 5 years ago? I started playing ukulele. Now I'm a published author who makes up blues songs on the fly to wind down between writing sessions.
Also I'm pretty sure G thinks Alfredo Sinterosa is my real name, because he keeps calling me Alfredo. My first name is Juan, so if you want to call me something G, you can just use my real name. -

That's what I'm talking about though man. You stuck it out for 5 more years, you got good, you saw it as practice and just kept hammering away at it despite people talking immense amounts of shit over something you were clearly passionate enough about to keep doing for 5 more years. Not gonna lie, I envy the shit out of that. I can handle a lot of things and a lot of the shit talking I get, but writing and music... there isn't much that'd be closer to my soul than that. I'd be mortified dealing with this community when it comes to that stuff.
