   In rough chronological order, from the beginning of the 20th century to the beginning of the 21st
   
   - They were right that overthrowing monarchies in Germany, Russia and Austria would lead to untold chaos and death
   - They were right that not partitioning Germany at the treaty of Versailles would lead to a second world war.
   - They were right that communism was a global threat
   - They were right that post war USA was crawling with communist spies
   - They were right that the 1965 immigration act would permanently alter the demographics of the United States (similar things happened in all western countries, ie the end of the 'White Australia' policy)
   - They were right that decriminalizing homosexuality would normalize sexual deviancy ('transgender kids', and now 'minor attracted person')
   The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire!
