I worked in Indiana on and off for a couple of years in the early 00s. It was a pretty cool place. I liked downtown Indianapolis and got to see the Indy 500 one year (2001 maybe..it's been a while).
There were some nice bars in Indianapolis and while walking around a scalper tried selling us tickets for the backstreet boys or some shit "boy bad" for $5...because the show had already started...we laughed at him and told him to fuck off but then later regretted it when we realized the show was probably full of firm bottomed young women who we could have forced our crotch upon.

ir could happen, OP.
but just one thing. you calypso every fucking "brilliant thought" you come up with but you always dance to the next idea. you never seize your ideas and make them a reality.

Midwestern Towns especially in the north is were all the fucking Serial Killers come from. there was one known Serial Killer from Sacramento in the 1960s and 70s had one young vampire serial killer in his teens and 20s before getting caught. died shortly afterwards in prison
then there is the Golden Gate Killer. they found him last year after 50 years of crime.
and there was some Navy dude stationed in my hometown who killed 6 women.
there was the Zodiac Killer but most likely Dark-op psychological grip on society. maybe an experiment of some type. Cough closert bill.
and the big one was a political group called the Z-Channel killings. they stated the Black Muslim Bakery of Oakland's members did all of the killing. like 5 of them. Politician Art Agnos was shot and masturbated while campaigning in the Bay Shore Project area.
the numbers they believe exceeded the original count was close to 7=8. but so many hitchhikers were being found dead all over the state mostly in the bay area. some 270 or more.
Note, I find it weird that another famous Socialite type. the son of the CEO of Du Pont who was living in San Francisco was killed. making this become very High Profile like the Patty Hearst and the La Bianca/Tate murders where Folgers Coffee Heiress from San Francisco was also murdered.
Maybe all of this was to test how people would be willing to stay indoors and follow orders and whoever didn't got placed on a watchlist.
Also point being. Richard Remerez was from another state. The suspect (only but the feds always believed there might of been 3) Zodiacs. the one they suspect and died later and never had a positive DNA match years later, he wasn't from Cali either.
Most of these people have histories of living all over the place. never settling down in one state. and many spending most of their lives in Indiana, Iowa, Il, Ks or Nebraska.
California is not as fucked up as people claim. you check the ratio not the amount of killers but the ratio. California is very low when it comes to Serial or Mass killings. but rates high on overall Inner City Crimes. but still pushed down to 20th from years of being first or second worse.
