Honestly if private showering rooms existed I would mind living in a van.
A car is too shitty but a van is just enough.
An RV would be perfect.
Back in 2015 or so I got this idea of a near future where I would live in a self-driving RV and tour the states while spending my days inside VR.

I have to say in your situation if you're doing it to save money and or for fun then the most you could get out of it is to live in an interesting location you can explore.
In my case I was in my home town which is a neat little city with a river and huge forest.
Although in my case it was quite miserable because I was homeless and in a car.
A can could be comfortable enough.
