the killers- Pretty sure, 80s. even though all are late 80s.. they're still 80s band
Your issue isn't with 80s so much as New Wave. Post Punk is not New Wave.
Gary Numan is a great performer and also is a Pilot for the Royal Airforce who flew Test Planes and risked his life. Great performer too. Prolly one of the few New Wave bands I enjoyed.. but he's a big David Bowie fan.
The only other New wave bands I liked were flock of seagulls.. and The Fixx. both Bay Area bands (if I'm not mistaken) and both decent sounds.

Yeah, I saw him in the 80s. We're all old now. Shit. Depeche Mode is going on tour.. actually going to be at the Oracle Arena instead of some small club like most 80s band have ended up. that's a pretty good deal for a band that started over 30 years ago. "Are friends electric" is a great song by Gary Numan so I think I know what's im saying. I don't know what I'm saying?? You were being born the time I was getting some serious tang at 3am going to these concerts.. and legal drinking age at that -
