I found it interesting that he didnt fire until the white officers came into the lobby. I guess its possible he couldnt figure out how to disengage the safety, but just seemed weird.
I never say anything but this was bad. I mean maybe its because if he pulled his gun out and told him not to advance he would be a racist cop against a Hispanic guy (which I think the cop might of been Hispanic too)
maybe as he advance and bouncing, the cop then should have kicked him in his sternum.
at that close range he could of then just shot the guy in the leg. hoped for the best that the mans femoral artery didn't tear and bleed out.
seriously.. shot him in the arm even. or pepper sprayed him. whatever. the guy was staggering drunk.
I mean maybe the drunk guy was drunk and on PCP and we just can't see his strength from all his staggering about. but it does look really sad. In the bay area like Oakland or San Francisco, the moment he came at the cop and then turned away, that cop would of had his gun out and or spraying his face with pepperspray or mace. stun guns don't seem to do much to people on drugs or alcohol. they hurt like fuck and only irritate the suspects more.
but I bet it's a station that gets little of that. boring. so boring you can tell the cops were like "What's going on here. Why are you so angry sir"
and not screaming "He's got my gun" instead of announcing it like a Game Show Host. "He's got my gun, Come on down"
