So what's the deal with mattresses?

geez im not really sure man, I was actually going to make a thread about this topic earlier but didn't think anyone would care. I've had a cheap mattress and my newest one i've had for a few years is a lot nice but I still wake up with a really sore back if I sleep on my back for too long. (I've had back problems for years) I've slept on the floor a lot and I know many people that do and they say its better for your back but you'll wake up bruised/sore.
I just moved recently and I'm buying a nice bed frame soon. I put a pillow between my legs or underneath them if I lay on my back for more support for my lower spine.
Several years ago some slammer came over at like 4 in the morning when I just got off work and she was too big, and I felt like she was fucking up my mattress so I paid her to leave. lol
my chiropractor asked me some questions about what I do on my bed lol.. and usually I just get on my laptop on my bed and he said I need to sit on a couch because its better for your back but at the last place I was at my couch was in a mini room, my cats room.. and It just wasn't reasonable to go there..The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

or you can get lucky and get a free bed bug free really nice mattress from a rich relative or off craigslist and itl last for a few years -

It has a dread guy stain on 1 side of it.
I just keep that side down.
Its comfy.
Idk, if i was to buy a new bed Id want one that can sit me up when I cant be bothered to and that can elevate my feet for when I break my ankle tripping over flower pots.
The good news is that you could get away with a small bed since its just you. -

Right...mine is a non-flippable one.
Mine was about $1500 when I bought it...it's at least 10yrs old but is still "like new" because I don't piss and shit all over it (and also have a mattress protector thing on it anyway so wayward Seamen and vaginal juices don't damage it).
Just remember folks when you have a new woman in your bed and they ask you if any other women have slept in it say "no, it's new". -

The ones with springs do, yeah.
Have you considered a hammock? There used to be loads of sites on the internet saying that it's more natural to sleep like that than it is flat on your back.
There are also high quality foam beds you could look at. Not the cheap nasty yellow stuff. -
