Trump's Lying Is Killing Us

Originally posted by Technologist I just experienced it with my Mom. We knew she was dying, so we all made plans to see her since the facility she was in let us see and touch her since she was actively dying. I saw her on Friday, and the last person that drove up to see her was my son. She knew he was the last person that was coming to say goodbye. He saw her on Saturday. She became unconscious Saturday night. Most of my family (13 people) were there praying and holding her hand when she passed. That was the least lonely death, she died how she wanted, with dignity and her family around.
I don’t know if your family is as tight as mine, but my Mother wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. It was not personal to her, it was personal to her and my family.
and she still died alone -

You’re being an ass, but that’s ok, I’m used to it. I’m not arguing with you about my Mom’s death. They’re my feelings and nothing you say will change that.
Have you been so damn cranky since you know your boy is losing? -

Yeah that sounds great and all for your family. But it doesn't change the fact that she died alone, even more so if she was unconscious hours before death. She mighta liked the thought of dying with her family around her, but in the end she couldn't have been any more indifferent.
When you die, or shall i say when your ego and human body dies, every thing here loses value. It doesn't matter if there's people there, they can't feel the catastrophic damnation and feeling of dread you feel, and even if they could, it would hardly be of any comfort. There's no room for compassion, love, or anything at all really. There's only one thing that matters to you and that is you, dying. And might i say, in a very uncomfortable way unless its insta death or you're completely drugged up. Slowly feeling life leaving your body is not fun and definitely one of the most horrible feelings on this side of the grave. There's no comfortable way to die, at least not while you're aware of dying. Sleeping in or getting your head blown off seems to be on the easier side of things because you're unaware of them happening.
Being present before she is dying is not the same as being with her when she dies.
Dying is one thing which people may participate in, but death is personal.
I can see why people mix these things up though, as there's a difference between dying and actually die. -

You couldn’t be more wrong. I’ll just leave it at that. I’m quite sure our religious beliefs are not in line with each other’s. -
