Objectively the best thing that could happen to America is a Trump dynasty which lasts for 10,000 years. Only the Trumps have the high energy, the constructive mindset, and the winning genetics that leading the empire demands. That's just common sense, and no rational human being could look at this plain reality and disagree. -

'military dictatorship is the only truly honest form of government because it makes no effort to obscure the fact that political power comes directly from force' -

2020-10-05 at 11:46 PM UTCI just thought it was an interesting perspective, similar to Mao's 'political power grows from the barrel of a gun'
any state's authority ultimately derives from its ability to enforce its will, either through direct force or threat of force (ie. hegemony). perhaps it'd be better that way - at least in a military dictatorship everyone fully understands the rules -

due to the prevalances of global trade and travel, generals too will succumb to the greed for money and financial gains.
they too will ended up being enforcers of corporate feudalists. look at thailamd. -
2020-10-05 at 11:53 PM UTCHow can people possibly think westerners live in a democracy given the massive amounts of power 1. the education system and 2. the mass media wield?
Keep in mind that the most prestigious media companies get their information from... government leaks. and keep in mind people have their moral compasses set from state education. It's a completely circular system with some sham elections in - sham because no one really has any thoughts that are their own given the massive structures telling them what to think. -

2020-10-06 at 12:01 AM UTCmost ancient 'democracies' restricted voting to men that'd served the country in some way - typically soldiers and pillars of community and the like, again going back to the importance of force. it also effectively screened out people who disliked or had no vested interest in the success of the country - I wonder how many western countries would be nowadays if people who wanted to radically change society, rather than gradually improving it, would've been excluded from the political system
universal suffrage was a huge mistake -
2020-10-06 at 8:26 AM UTCThe reason they put Franco in power was because politics in Spain caused so much trouble that it needed to be shut down altogether.
It worked. Franco worried about the government and kept the extremists supressed, and ordinary people were able to concentrate on their lives.
I don't think that, reading this forum, you could argue that the involvement of certain people in politics has done anyone (besides the grafters in the media and the party machines) any good. Neither they nor the rest of us benefit from their engagement with the system. They need to be excluded, for their own benefit, and the benefit of the common good.

This is a great point. If you want to destroy us, do you really deserve our protection and assistance in representing your point of view? On the other hand one of the strengths of the system has been it's ability to co-opt such people into serving it, at least most of the time. I think the system has lost a lot of it's ability to "bring people in" due to generational and racial wealth disparities however. -
