The real problem is people funding it, advertising it, getting it airplay and pushing narratives like it being about 'empowering women' rather than just a bunch of dirty, dirty whores
I'm not sure what you're getting at with the first part but I agree on the second - the problem there is that it's become very difficult for parents to control what their kids have access to - you have a kid don't you?
it becomes especially difficult when this sort of THING (WAP isn't even the worst example) gers promoted across all channels
even if your kid doesn' t have a phone or the internet, their friends at school do
The first part is saying, as egregious as I think songs, tv shows, & even commercials are...they have access to it all. Who do u go to for change?? This is the next generation, it's a train. I can cry every night but I can't stop it. I have a 15 year old daughter, & she is my life. I see humanity desolving & maybe it will recover, but it's hard for me to picture. I feel horrible. My daughter has so many dreams for herself, Im confident if we all worked TOGETHER, things might change. We have to be mindful of our youth, they are our future.
