   320kbps mp3 is hard to distinguish from lossless although for more complex music like Merzbow it becomes more apparent.
   I find that vorbis tends to sound worse than mp3 under 320kbps (although a lot of people think otherwise).
   Anything under 320kbps for all codecs has noticeable artifacts.

    Pandora sounds like garbage, which is 64kbps.
    YouTube and spotify sound decent, which is 192kbps (the bit rate that achieves transparency for most songs).
