2020-09-30 at 10:01 PM UTCwhen I was a little kid I used to draw saddam hiding in his bunker on the back of all my homework assignments and I spent months incorportating him into all my drawings and art because I thought the idea of some dude with a beard hiding in a bunker from the soldiers for months while the world looks for him was funny. Like 'where in the world' is he and they got trucks and helicopters all over but he's literally under them just chilling watching them look for him on his TV.

You're so far off the mark. I said the Saudi's PAID for it. A Princess and cousin/aunt to Osama Bin Laden had wrote checks to those guys. yes, they placed the passports there, but those guys were also on the plane. there is way more going on. those guys probably thought they were on a test run just to show up. while those involved had no doubt rigged the Planes with Remote Control to take over the panels. Just like in The Smoking Gun first episode "Pilot".
that technology has been around since the 1980s. hoping one day to have pilotless commercial drones. it is that technology that runs the drones in the post 9/11 war.
Not all 19 "highjackers" were on board. only 11 of them. the other 8 were found to be alive in the middle east.
not to mention all of those on the list were Saudi Arabs. not Afghan and certainly not Iraqis.

the other interesting this is because of that incident. the Marriott Hotel owned already by Larry Silverstein had re-enforced it to withstand a bomb attack yet it also saved some fire fighters and hotel workers and guest from dying. they hid in the stairwell where the collapsed that rained down on it managed to survive. because duing the 1993 bombing, that one section of the Marriott was damaged and re-enforced when fixed.
Sad Fact: SNL Pete Davidson's Father was a FDNY firefighter and was in Marriott when it came down and apparently didn't get into the stairway with the rest and died.
