It's a social thing for most people if you haven't noticed. That's part of the "buzz" which is building momentum in a way. There are a lot of uses for alcohol. Yours seems boring, mindless and juvenile. If you would have went to high school you would have done those very things en masse and been over them by now and then your development would continue, but instead you're stuck in a loop.
Does your mother encourage you to stop drinking? Do you contribute any money to the household? You seem to live a sad life and make 700 threads a day because no one gives you attention but your mother. I imagine your mother has problems of her own for her to be complacent with how you are. I have to believe that he got his "anti-normie" ideals from her. It could explain why she would let him live at home as a literal worthless child instead of encouraging him to better himself. I'm thinking she must also embrace this non-comfortity attitude and likely prides herself for the living situation they're in. -

At the end of the day I might even be able to understand and appreciate the lifestyle choice hes made, but the endless attempts to justify it coupled with the constant complaints of anxiety depression and alcoholism seem to suggest that its maybe not quite the dream life that's being suggested.
