   I wonder what people thought of Throbbing Gristle back then.
   It would be interesting to experience hearing that kind of music with the perspective and psychology of the time.
   I grew up in a world where electronic music was already established so my mind had developed around that, but what if you were in the 70s hearing that kind of music for the first time.

   the beginning of it would've been the 'extreme' performance art scene; industrial music was an extension of that which is why I don't feel like you can really appreciate it without having attended or experienced in some way the performances - kind of like judging a movie based on just the audio.
