2020-09-23 at 3:30 PM UTCyes when I see an elderly person I stay 12 feet away and make the lines double in length. I will not approach the cashier until the elderly person has fully exited the store.
These cashiers try to rush me through and 'wave me in' when the elderly person is still putting all their bags on their walker and slowly sauntering out. I just stare at them and ignore the people behind me telling me to go. I'm social distancing DOUBLE here folx
The people in line get really irritated because I stand so far back and create really long awkward lines that last a long time because elderly people are chatty and like to talk about the weather and count their nickels at the register and remember a coupon at the last second.
I am single handedly responsible for them opening another register which should have been done in the first place to encourage social distancing. I propose we have a line sorting system based on covid risk. The elderly people can all be in their line, they are all at the same risk. I don't want to interfere with their lifestyles of being old.
Because some lines of tape on the floor and these stores aren't doing enough. They do it because they have to and lets be honest a lot of people are getting tired of all this and dont care anymore. it has become a war of attrition. -

2020-10-25 at 11:14 AM UTCI think the best way to beat the scandemic is to not pander to it so much.
The covie (hebrew for covid fyi) test and the whole premise of this virus seem super hokey.
At my new interview/first day at my new job yesterday it went well but the managers were cool to me but when i met them reached to shake their hands they got weird and we could only touch elbows..
Had to wear a bandana over my face cooking over a stove sweating balls into the mushrooms i was sauteing cause its added heat wearing that thing over my face and constantly having to adjust it even when i had blood on my hands.
The chef taste tested the mushrooms triple dipping spreading his fake virus into it to contaminate everyone.. -

Yeah it's best to stay back. reason is this. even if they're wearing a mask, its blowing out of the back of the mask. it's safer to be 6 feet in front of a masked person than 10 feet behind them if they sneeze or cough and have an infectious lung disease of sometype -
2020-10-25 at 2:35 PM UTCIt's better the elderly get the virus now and have a chance to develop immunity, rather than get it years from now and probably die. Delaying the inevitable is a fool's errand.
