I suppose Soy and Aldra are going to tell us all how great North Korea is and how the USA should just butt out of South Korean affairs and let a war happen because America sucks and China is awesome.

North Korea is cool as hell and should be preserved as the whole world doesn't need to be like New York.

And also don't you think it's odd the way North Korea is ALWAYS the aggressor in the media. Reality is that yanks and South Koreans do all sorts of shit that never even gets reported on - like the sanctions, infringing on North Korean shipping, fucking with North Korean exports, etc.

Being all weird and totally cut off\tightly controlled from the world seems like a Korean thing tho. Think hermit kingdom.

Just leaving them alone to do their own thing isn't edgy, it's decency.

I got a facebook holiday once because a friend was ranting about how north korea should be nuked and I said that they were just normal people and posted a video of daily life there. one of his friends reported it

I guess I'm just too damn edgy.

Do you actually know what edgy means?

There is zero credible evidence that's what he did.

I mean, this was a country that was literally bombed until there was nothing left to bomb, then the US spread scarlet fever across the countryside (a trick they learned after absorbing UNIT 731 into their own biowarfare program) to cover their withdrawal when China forced them out and haven't officially ended the war to this day.

Even after direct action ceased they've blockaded and imposed embargoes against the country to induce starvation and poverty for the last 50 years or so and literally celebrate when 'ghost fishing boats' show up on China and SK's shores.

Why are far right people praising communist dictatorships. It's truly bizarre.

The Korean war would have been won if McArthur had been allowed to use tactical nukes on China. Then you would have had a unified Korean peninsular under a capitalist government and it would have kicked ass.

Couldn't you like at least look at the flow of people between the two sides to see which one might be the better place to live?

Rather Roman of you, creating a desert and calling it victory.

That scenario prob would have kicked off ww3.

Who's far right? What does that even mean? It seems like a pejorative.

you cannot actually use nukes or the MAD concept falls apart and EVERYBODY USES THEM

you, nor anyone else has no business imposing starvation on a country in an attempt to force them to choose a government or ideology that you prefer.

Do you guys even history? There was no MAD with red china in the 1950s - they didn't have nuclear weapons until the 1960s.

Far-right isn't a pejorative. I'm far-right, arguably. More so than you two, considering how much you love communist shitholes.

Tactical nukes wouldn't have created much of a desert.

And it would have been more humane than what actually happened to China after the Korean war.

"Despites its denials at the time, the Soviet Union was intimately involved in the Korean War. The contribution made by the Soviets was vital. They provided diplomatic support, strategic and grand tactical planning, including the planning of the invasion of South Korea, and essential logistical support. They supplied and trained the air forces of China and North Korea. Soviet pilots flew aircraft with Chinese or North Korean markings and after the war claimed to have shot down over 400 UN aircraft."

    The Soviets were invested.

Nukes would have opened up a can of worms.
