Hospitals are not making any money for admitting they have COVID patients. Go ahead and find me the legislation which says otherwise. I'll be waiting. -

You can tell that Trump was slow to listen to his advisors. It took protests, riots, and deaths before Trump realized he couldn't afford to stand on the wrong side of history. Sometimes he still slips up and forgets. Unfortunately his followers still haven't gotten the message.
In the face of 200,000 Americans dead due to COVID-19, all right wingers can say is that the numbers are a lie. They intentionally misconstrue information to try and make it seem like the numbers are higher than reported, trusting that most people won't take the time out of their day to research, and actually look at the information themselves.
Let's fact check, shall we? Here are the words that Trump's supporters have so lovingly latched on to.“This week the CDC quietly updated the Covid number to admit that only 6% of all the 153,504 deaths recorded actually died from Covid. That’s 9,210 deaths. The other 94% had 2 to 3 other serious illnesses and the overwhelming majority were of very advanced age.”

You'll notice now the narrative changes, and different people will say that different amounts of the death toll is faked, without sources of course. 6% is of course the favorite, but I've also seen people claim 1/3 or 1/2 are faked. It's all nonsense.
At the beginning of this pandemic there was a study done to see how many cases and deaths there would be by Feburary 2021 if we locked down properly. They guessed that at most, we would have 36,000 deaths, and 760,000 cases. Right now we have 200,000 deaths and 6,640,000 cases.
Let's wrongly assume the 6% number is right and there are only 12,000 deaths. That's a 0.18% mortality rate. The flu, (again only using the highest estimates provided by the CDC) has a mortality rate of 0.11%. This is nearly twice as deadly as the flu. Or it would be. The real mortality rate of COVID in America is 3%. This makes it 27x more deadly than the flu, and the third largest cause of death in America. -

I guess you don't understand the concept of more case numbers more dollars for the hospitals, eh? Yep. You're a stupid one, alright. -

That is an additional 39K you stupid one titted self loathing cunt. It is right in the CARES act, you know the house (democrat) version which was passed not the senate (republican) version that was blocked by the house (democrats). -
2020-09-17 at 1:59 AM UTCJesus. Why does it cost 75k for one day of using a ventilator?

Uhh, did you even look at the legislation? This is publicly available fyi.
No mention of a per patient payment of 39,000 to hospitals. It does mention a 20% medicare add on to give relief to hospitals.
You know, you'd think more hospitals would get 'busted' for this if they were actually scamming the system on such a massive scale. 94% of these are faked according to Trump.
I suppose you cant provide a solid source for those claims either... -
