    I'll be running several programs at once for example running a virtual machine on a screen in bigscreen vr wgile dozens of other screens are up.

    seems dumb - not only is it redundant but trying to do regular tasks is going to be a bitch unless you make text sizes enormous thanks to headset resolutions.

    nowadays VMs themselves aren't too taxing on the CPU (depending of course on what you're doing in the VM) but require 4-8GB of dedicated RAM per VM. You'd probably be fine with a mid-high range i5 if you've got 16GB+ in this regard.

    The VR rendering itself is mostly reliant on the GPU and RAM to a lesser degree

    first I've heard of it, interesting that it's a little cheaper than the oculus/vive/etc.

    either way though I have no idea whether the extra pixels would improve text significantly and I'd also be wary of the constant motion


    ALSO you'd need a pretty hardcore GPU to drive it
