   I just use stainless steel fiber. Look up the guide for making "the machine", a dmt smoking device. You essentially get a certain type of scouring pad, like a chore boy, and then burn the coating off, maybe even dip it in a bit of acetone if you really want to get it clean.
   
   It works, and to clean it I just hold it over a flame on the stove with pliers or tweezers and with the exhaust on. It's great for extracts/concentrates as well, I actually prefer it to the quartz banger I tried. Also works well in my wooden pipe.
