If you look at the most powerful people and institutions on this earth, not to mention the "tide of history", I think it's pretty clear which side is more influential, fashionable, trendy, and is on the side of power.
People like to pretend that there are two equal and opposing forces called "left" and "right", but it's more like a car speeding down the highway in one direction. The most a conservative can hope for is the occasional republican president who can put the brakes on, or stop for gas. To be fair I read the list of things and thought that was basically what you view the function of governance and the social contract with each person and the state. God can mean benevolence on behalf of the state, family can mean personal beliefs, work can mean taxes etc
Most conservatives are boring people who actively try not to think outside of societal norms and are therefore boring and underachieving humans, and exactly the type the state wants to govern. I always thought it was interesting that Columbia has left and right wing guerilla (and even marxist-leninist groups) and both of them carry guns and traffic cocaine. "Progressivism" is such a weird word, nobody can really nail it down but it's being used as a slur for 1 world government/george soros/1 homogeneous population type of worldview which I don't think is accurate. Conservatives are usually the dumbest types of people too, and most of the kind I meet now used to be hard liberal before they realized there were problematic things about the modern liberal agenda so they became hard conservatives (without really knowing anything about it, or history) mostly out of hatred for liberals. It's really stupid. I just like personal/business freedoms to the nth degree and think the government should really only spend money on safety nets and social programs and don't really see a role for the government beyond that.
Most conservatives say they want small government until they hear about the idea of taking money from police budgets and lose their shit. These are the dumbest cucky types who really just think people in power are more deserving of everything than they are. Literally authoritarian cucks. I will never trust anyone who thinks taking money from the police and putting it into social programs is a bad idea. They will believe anything and are the dumbest people.
