The calibration for the test was set to such a high sensitivity that they would pick up dead and deactivated virus, as well as DNA fragments that may not have even come from COVID in the first place.
That is to say ~90% of tests were run at an obscenely high sensitivity and MAY have been false positives, not that they definitely were -

No, it doesn't say that they were false but it does say they were not positive. Proving something could be false or not does not prove it is true. Couple that with the CDC directive that the COD be listed as COVID if it was suspected even in the absence of testing and things sure smell fishy when you look at the "offical" numbers.
