why would i move to a flat land area with no mountains, no oceans to sit on a beach and live in the middle of wetland with mosquitos the size of humming birds and getting robbed because i dont know bad areas i might accidently drive in? -

At the end of the day though who cares about fucking. Just do what your brain tells you to do. If your life is about listening to music and enjoying it, then good. Maybe also just try to adapt into it the fact that people like music that doesn't exactly align with your tastes but still appeals to them. It doesn't make them lesser, any better than it makes you lesser when they dont like what you like.
I know you hate mainstream music but you also like some select mainstream bands (pink floyd, nin,) so dont be so hoighty toighty better than thou just because you hate a band. The very bands you love happen to also love other bands that you happen to HATE. You dont have to HATE. -

My beef with the people here isn't about hating the music they listen to, rather it's about pointing out the fact they only listen to simple accessible music rather than branching out an approaching music as an art form.
Like when I post something like Ryoji Ikeda or Merzbow some od you are like "but I could do this" "there is no talent" "it's so simple" what you don't realize is music isn't a sport or challenge, it's a creative medium the only thing that matters is the artists vision not whether or not they are skilled with a particular instrument and the irony is that the music isn't simple at all you just have to train yourself to really be able to hear/perceive all the detail. -
