My grandparents don't and never will understand drugs so if i came running to them because we had crack heads crawling through the window to steal our food they would think I was making it all up (people often did when I said anything) because drugs are like aliens to people that have never been around them.
My aunt tried to adopt me when the cocaine got really bad and she knew the people around the house had firearms and sold drugs for a living but I was a rough and tumble kid from the bad side of the train tracks (both sides were bad) so I chose to continue skipping school to defend my house from crackheads and gave up an education and normal life for the experience of wrestling dope fiends and getting to hold a pistol sideways
