I think we should have business as usual . If someone is particularly susceptible or just fearful of the virus they can just stay at home and have groceries delivered and let others make their own choices.
It seems like a total power play to me, to force businesses to close. That isn't freedom, and that's why in general you shouldn't need a license or permit to be able to operate a business.

Imagine yourself not as a well adjusted individual who can see the problems in the world and wants to fix them. Instead you're going to imagine yourself as one of those problems. You are the sort of person whose life came to nothing. You peaked in high school where you were either a bully or someone bullied who was constantly told that you'll be the one rising above in the real world. With nothing good going on in your life you turn to what you seek patriotism and think of your country as above all others. Anyone who says otherwise is against you and must be stamped out. You buy some guns and they really help you feel that you're worth something because now you can defend this country that you love so much from those who would stand against it.
For years, even though you have the guns, you've been made to hide your true feelings about the problems in this country. They're racist, you're told. They're sexist. Whatever you think, you're told it shows the hatred inside. As far as you're concerned, these are facts so how can these deluded fools think otherwise. They're indoctrinated by the libs, the man on the radio tells you as you wonder whether to buy some of these supplements he's selling. $129 seems a lot for a month of vitamins, but the guy agrees with you rather than calling you a hater and so you know he wouldn't steer you wrong.
But what's this? A candidate is rising who not only seems to agree with you about the problems with this world, but he's pointing out new problems. Everyone who stands against him he sees right through and has a nickname for that shows them the crooked or sleepy idiots that they are. Yeah, USA! Make America Great Again? I mean, it is great isn't it, apart from all the... Of course! That's what he means. We get rid of them and somehow stop them coming back... Build a wall? Oh my god, that's magnificent!
Finally there is somebody talking for you up there, and so you feel that maybe you're allowed to say the things that others stopped you from saying in the past. There's only a guaranteed four years of this though, so you'll say them as much as possible. But what if there were eight years? You'd get double your freedom then. Defend him at every opportunity and there may well be that eight years.
So what if he slept with a sex worker while his wife was pregnant? She's foreign and he's American, and he had great works to do. Can't do that while all bunged up. So what if he grabs women by the pussy? You'd love to do that, and that makes it okay. Russian collusion? Well, it's okay if they got this saviour of our people in I suppose... Nope, all a scam by the libs! Should've known. Of course he'll hire all his business buddies to jobs that have opposed their businesses; they know how things work after all. Oh, some of them stole from the American people? Well, that's on them, not the man who freed you.
