I just made a comparison video of the same video side by side in 60fps and 30fps. I can't really tell the difference. I'll just stick to 4k for raw footage and then downscale to 1080p/30 for home movies.
Still, I find the footage on my Nikon D3200 is much smoother than on an old S6 Edge. Smartphones are garbage for video.
