My protonix had been costing $20ish and now they want $130 for a 30 day supply.
I asked why and they said because insurance companies will only pay for 60 days worth of the year.
Like okay....
um, what about the rest of the year????
The woman on the phone told me I can pay $20 to sign up for their pharmacy discount program and get them at a slightly lower cost.
Nah, I'd rather die than get fucked by jedis anymore than I already am.

Do you happen to know if you have H. pylori virus?
Because if not, a lot of GERD cases can actually be managed surprisingly easily through lifestyle changes.
I used to take a similar med... I can't remember it's name. But anyway, I made certain changes to my diet and general way of life and it completely cured it.
Interestingly enough, though, I've let myself go in the year or so and its come back all these years later.
But it's something probably worth considering.
Unless it's H. Pylori. I honestly can't even remember if there's some kind of anti viral that kills it.

Id rather not be on anything and have no vices.
Meds are a scam.
Surgery is the only cure.
But Technologist won't let me use her x-ray machine because she works for a hospital aka the problem with healthcare.
Whatever happened to traveling doctors?
Why the fuck do they need a billion dollars a year and get to choose who lives or dies.
On another note I hate being poor and now I get to choose between being in pain and paying the bills so I don't get evicted and lose all my goodwill furniture.

If you can find the literature how to convert this intermediate into your herpes meds we should cook a batch in shells parents shed
"The invention relates to a method for synthesis of a pantoprazole intermediate 4-difluoromethoxyacetanilide.
In autoclave, add 400g water, paracetamol 30.2g, 16g sodium hydroxide and 1.5gPEG400, stir. After enclosed system, pass into monochlorodifluoromethane, under 1.5MPa reaction pressure, in 60 ℃ of reaction 8h.After reaction finishes, reacting liquid enhancementing, enhancement cake 5%(weight fraction) be washed to again neutrality after the alkali cleaning of NaOH solution, obtain crude product.Crude product is refined and is obtained 4-difluoro-methoxy Acetanilide solid 32.4g in 80 ℃ through 50% aqueous acetic acid (volume fraction), yield 80%, and fusing point is 114-116 ℃.

is it cheaper to get generics?
2020-08-28 at 10:51 AM UTC
Download Good Rx. You can see all the prices in your area. My husband travels a bit, but gets his prescriptions for next to nothing.
Also if your doctor who prescribed it sends in a prior authorization to your insurance company, they may cover it.
You have to do a little legwork, but it’s worth it.

I'm still kinda amazed this shit is literally made industrially from water and paracetamol
Big pharma has a monopoly so they can charge whatever they want. This is like how insulin and Epi pens which should be cheap as fuck they are basic medicines just get more expensive because only a few companies are allowed to produce them.
Anti capitalist regulations and FDA are the reason they can get away with this. If there weren't so many laws then a company could just produce a cheaper generic and compete. But there is zero profit in doing that not because people wouldn't buy it but because the costs associated of licensing and getting FDA approval are more hassle than its worth. That's why all big pharma companies are old and have been around forever because it's basically impossible for anyone new to come in and do anything differently.
The system is rigged. Just look at Martin Shkreli. He tried to play like the big boys and got sent to fucking prison for participating in capitalism HURR AMERICA FREEDOM

Buy anyways I got her to write my scripts on paper so I can just take them wherever after I get done "pill shopping".
She wrote me a script for chantix too.
I know Bill Krozby said don't do it but what do I really have to lose.
Im already to poor to survive because Technologist wants to up charge me 62k% on my meds so she can make sure her jedi boss has only the nicest things while I live in a fucking Goodwill show room.

Imagine not having medical insurance.
2020-08-29 at 8:27 PM UTC
My chantix is free with insurance.
It is over $500 without it.
They didn't have any in stock but I am going back Monday to pick it up when they do.
I think I even got Chell down with Chantix and she said she would get a script and do it with me.
Hell yeah
