That is really cool ride and I nice drive also. But there is a fire on Hualapai Mountain that started about two or three days ago. Another really cool trip from Kingman is Oatman. Just take old US 66 west out of Kingman and about 35 minutes your at the top of the mountain in Oatman. It's a toruist trap town but it's cool to see once or twice and the road is like a mountain road on the Lonoey Toons RoadRunner Show. Also Oatman has wild donkeys that just roam up and down the street and up on the sidewalks. In 30 - 40 minutes you can be on the Colorado river in Bullhead City and if you want ot be forced to wear a mask you cna cross the river into Laughlin, NV where there are quite a few casinos if that's your thing. I'm Driving about an hour to Lake Havasu City where I've reserved a 24 foot pontoon boat for Sunday. I love this area there are many things that I like to do around here.

If you head out of Kingman towards Bullhead City you come to a smal town called Golden Valley. On the west end of the valley off of rt 68 turn left on Estrella, go about 4 miles to a dirt road named Unkar Rd and turn right. When that dead ends make another right and when you come to a real smooth graded dirt road turn left, follow it until you come to a T and turn right. You will see a gate and a cattle guard on the ground about 1/4 mile on your left. This is BLM land setup for offroad vehicle use. There are miles and miles of really cool trails that run along the ridges of mountians, down in washes, and all through the mountains. The views are spectacular and the wildlife is abundant.
