Enlightened, 45,000 year old philosophical tradition
Worship a billion different gods, including Vishnu, the god of nuclear weapons.
Never conquered in all recorded history.
Hindu - pagan - the same religion as trve Europeans. Worship streams, rocks, trees. The original Aryans.
Independent superpower - align with either Russia or America when it suits, playing them off against each other. Fought China to a stalemate in the Himalayas by beating them with fists and rocks.
Love workers, fight for workers rights, massive income growth.
Continually becoming richer, massive tech sector.

2020-08-22 at 12:47 AM UTCIndia has some serious problems, but their diaspora is insanely successful. Despite the overwhelming pro-white systemic racism and thick layer of white supremacy in the US they are now the wealthiest group by nationality and it's not even close.
So I do believe there's a lot of potential. -

My biggest fear going to India is Delhi belly. My Aunt went to India and claims that she didn't get it, not sure if it's cos it's a myth, or cos she took my advice and took doxycycline the whole time. She's not honest enough to tell the truth. -
2020-08-22 at 1:17 AM UTCIf I was gonna start an industrial drug lab i'd take Pakistan over India because they have more prosperous ports where people frequently smuggle illicit goods, acetic anhydride for heroin production. It's very easy to bribe your way through customs. They are more 'concerned' with terrorists smuggling explosives than someone importing 1000kg of precursor.
India also has lots of illicit pharmaceuticals, it's pretty well known for all the shitty labs there churning out fake viagra so they are more aware of people ordering large amounts of sketchy chemicals. Also I think Pakistan culture is more cool with drugs.
I have known lots of Indian people and they are very anti drug, anti alcohol. Most muslim pakis I know smoked hash and have no problem with it. -
2020-08-22 at 1:27 AM UTCI actually grew up in an unusual environment where Indians (dot, not feather) were nearly the majority. In some neighborhoods, they legit outnumbered white households.
I'm pretty sure it's literally their most densely diaspora'd city.
Oddly enough, though, I have met very few Pakistanis in my life.
Growing up in the scenario that I did, I heard more racial slurs and stereotypes about Indians than I ever did for blacks (for instance).
In fact, it was very common to call all South Asian looking people "Paki", "turbans", "ragheads", or "Hindu" (this being especially ignorant since the vast majority are Sikh).The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

The Mughal invasion kinda negates both of those statements.
EDIT: Negates the second, but makes the first less unique. My OCD was bugging me when I reread what I initially said. Everyone in that region was getting invaded by Arabs at one point or another... At least when they weren't being invaded by Mongols or Europeans. -

Admittedly, though, calling it an invasion is open to all kinds of interpretation. -

Many regions are absolutely devastated by poverty and over population.
I'd check the country out myself if the opportunity arose, but I'd probably stick to certain regions over others. -
