Make it all, add citric acid to the fluid and put it in a very wide bowl in some dry spot. Let the water evaporate and you'll have raw codeine/morphine citrate. Or opium. Then smoke a bowl and send me the rest. -

This is going of a drunken, high and basic knowlege of chemistry and citrate-alks but wouldnt the citrate be a goo? A really shitty to deal with goo? Maybe my info is shit but I would recon the citrate is a goo, the freebase might be crystaline, the furmate definitly crystaline. Again, I am going off the knowledge of a guy who's HS chem teacher told him he would not be in a feild that "worked with complex ideas" so take this with a grain of NaCl. -

This person was lucky (or unlucky) and got good seeds that had not been washed, which is not to say they can't be found, but it varies from the source. I would also go so far, that you won't find this in every batch, even if they have not been washed, as you are dealing with a bi-product of the plant, how they were handled, how they were prepared for end consumption, and even the particular crop they came from. I fully support the use and abuse of poppy seeds, I just would not count on killing myself with every preparation based on this one outcome.
