    I dunno, maybe some are true believers. Most would prob be Nazis in '35, prob just looking for greater meaning, fighting for truth, justice and all that with their comrades. A reason to march, a reason to group around. A congregation. This just happens to be the bullshit thats popular today, if only people got as passionate about infrastructure and efficiency.

    I've noticed a lot of people talk about infrastructure as a political goal or policy point but beyond saying "fix our infrastructure" most people have relatively little knowledge on what is an unbelievably complex issue.
    
    Passion is an emotion that is a lot easier to direct when you can funnel it into the discrimination and hatred of another group. Sometimes that group is the jedis, sometimes its blacks/whites etc.

    Shiiit, when I think infrastructure I think about a well oiled machine of millions, well timed signals, efficient routes. More capacity, where it matters, targets for cost, expected duration of projects, in lifespan and while being done.
    
    Mmmmm ports, roads, signals, rails power plants. Sources for materials and labor.
