it was fine on Bill Krozbydogs or my realm, because there were so few people.
on survival.pw it's impossible.

To play the game and have fun? What's the point of voice chat if you can just type in chat like everyone else does.
It's not impossible. Fonaplats has no problem with it even on constantiam where people spam discord links constantly. It helps that they had pink text for PM's.
I actually used to miss chat messages a lot on survival.pw but they recently changed chat so now it plays a loud noise when you get a PM so we have had no problems.
I agree that it's hard to follow chat with no plugins but that's why almost all servers have some chat plugins that change the color of messages or gives you an alert.
I will look for my mic again. Might need to buy a new one. I don't have a headset mic so it's an inconvenience for me to even use it but I still want to so I can stream on twitch.

Voice chat is real time. To type chat you have to stop what you are doing and type stuff. it's a PITA in LIVE FIRE situations.
I'm sick of base building, I want to do LIVE FIRE things. If I wanted to base build I'd track down MMR and his hairy asshole, he's the best at that.

Wtf is a live fire thing? I don't do much PVP, base hunting or griefing on this server because I don't have much gear. I just grind and fuck around really.
We have made some bases but they aren't meant to be aesthetic or anything. Just simple farms and stuff, I have elytra and lots of food, a good emerald farm. don't even have enchanting set up lol.
Everyone else on the server is a sweaty try hard with full netherite running around with their pay to win items doing trades and whatever. I wanted to make a cool fort at spawn and build giant F's and force everyone to pay tribute to the fonaplats army but the admins shut down my fun and deleted the fort
