RIP Oculus VR

They were the greatest thing in my life, all I would think about everyday was the Rift and VR.
Then they sold out to faceberg which killed the company ... AND NOW THIS?

I probably won't even buy a rift now I'll just get a Sony HMD and maybe the Valve Index.
Fuck
I have the DK1 and Go and I will always keep them near and dear to my heart but I think now it's time to part ways. -

Yeah unless faceberg sells Oculus and Palmer Luckey returns then it's officially dead.
The future of Facebook VR is going to be something marketed towards a wide audience like parents and the general populous.
Serious VR fans will stick to Sony and Valve.
I read that Sony is currently working on a new HMD that might not be strictly a Playstation thing.
At this point I don't care about the brand I just want an HMD that has good enough screens so that the screendoor effect is eliminated.
I wonder how long it'll take for that.
Also fuck closed ecosystems, the HMDs should be universal.
