At least you aren’t completely deluding yourself into thinking he’s just the greatest thing ever, like most of his base does.
Christ, the amount of times I’ve talked to people about him and hear them say shit like “he’s not a politician, he’s just like one of us, he’s a straight shooter, he’s a genius, he’s a deal maker, he’s got it all planned out”. Basically just parroting all the shit he says about himself to boost his own ego, and they really believe it.
He’s just a really confidant dumb guy who’s good at playing a character in reality tv shows, except this time the tv show is reality. He doesn’t even believe half the shit he says to make middle class white people vote for him, he just saw this cultural/societal wave start to form and he rode it all the way through the election, that’s all it was. Ffs he was a democrat for 50 years. He doesn’t give a shit about any of it, the only thing he cares about is being powerful.

Guardian of Israel Bolton seems to be have appointed as a minder to Trump of some sort.
Notice how the mainstream media (left or right) never seriously attacked him, and now that he's gone his general shittyness and advocacy for war in Syria been memoryholed.
It's easy to forget how close America came to full on invasions of Syria both under Obama and Trump. They had constant pictures of gassed and debris covered children on TV, reusing pictures of children they themselves had killed in Iraq, and staging their own hoax attacks and photo-ops.
