I dunno, I think Trump has always just talked utter nonsense as 'filler' when he's expected to say something and doesn't really know what. Which is a problem in itself, but it doesn't seem to be the same utter confusion that Biden falls into regularly. His staff have literally had him avoiding public appearances in the hope that people will just vote AGAINST Trump instead of presenting Biden as a viable alternative.
Originally posted by Technologist Seriously? You’re using that against him? It was a fucking joke. He was standing behind/beside her while she was speaking. She waved her arms while speaking and her finger hit his mouth. But that makes him feeble? I thought it was a cute moment between husband and wife.
seems like a strange way to rationalise it; if it was a joke I don't get it at all -

You don’t get that her hand was flung back, and he played it off with a cute show of affection? What is so gross about a man nibbling on his wife’s fingertip?
If you judge a man on stupid shit like this, that’s on you. -

Fuck does that even mean?
Anyone ever notice how Trump hate, just like Bush Hate, is always directed against the person rather than the policies?
Instead of making positive demands they just whinge like spoiled kids complaining about their parents. -

typically because the policies they want him to pursue are very difficult to defend openly.
the only time I recall the media ever cheering him on was when he launched that hilariously impotent missile barrage against Syria -

It was impotent, but it still killed people for no good reason besides evil.
They cheered him on when he killed that Iranian General too. Although that may have just been Kushner.
It's very hard to know what goes on in the halls of power. Any book we get about the situation simply won't be credible - unless it is written well after the fact when the issues concerned have ceased to matter. In 20 or 40 years maybe we'll know the full story - maybe.
But we do know what the people want - they voted for it in 2016 - affordable healthcare, decent wages, less immigration, good jobs, no wars.
Trump knows that, he made it the basis of his platform. Of course he had no intention to deliver.
Preventing the people from getting what they want is the whole point of the current system - everywhere - but especially in America. -
