But when you look at it another way, it does. Totse wasn't entirely based on knowledge is power. Freedom of expression was just an integral part of it all, and at least in that respect, we still carry the torch. Not many places still do, -

I just get sick of seeing people complaining about the decline of this community, and insisting on 'quality posts' and even suggesting rules to encourage 'quality posting' and/or discourage 'shitposting', without understanding the simple fact that you can't force people to make 'quality posts', the only way to have 'quality posts' is to....post something worth a damn, jesus it's not rocket science.
In other words, for those of you bitching about the lack of post quality, how about you use that energy to make your own 'quality posts'?

Even my posts that are seemingly retarded and utterly pointless, nonsensical to the point of immediately causing the viewer to become overwhelmed by a relentless desire for self-mutilation or suicidal thoughts, yes EVEN THOSE posts have powerful and often unseen sub-meanings. Perhaps my post is to remind you that I don't know what I'm talking about, lest you start to take me seriously. Perhaps my post is to remind you that I do know what I'm talking about, lest you chalk me up as a simpleton. Perhaps my post is for personal reasons- markings in a journal to be read and digested buy future historians, left to wonder and ponder what, if anything, it all meant. And maybe, just maybe, every post I make is a signature unto the stains of time of which no mortal man would ever begin to comprehend the vast underlying meaning swarming within the post like a rage-fueled cluster of locusts flying through the night over some poor unsuspecting village located in the Middle East probably in the outlying regions close to Baghdad. .
