   I did when I was a kid.. found a plant that grew on a street near my childhood home, I was probably 12ish... was horrible I kept seeing people that weren’t there and had dry mouth like you wouldn’t believe... not a good time at all

   Could probably be made into a similar beer. I think ill stick to smoking it though.
   
   Am going to brew some pilsner though. Both datura and henbane are worth growing simply as ornamentals. Smoking datura leaves is euphoric and relaxing but seems to last 20 minutes at most.

   Drinking it alone though it takes a lot longer than alcohol to feel the effects. You’ve never done it any other way besides smoking?

    Ive only smoked it. Accidental transdermal sometimes. I have a permanent reoccurring hallucination from smoking it, a grid of smoke which sometimes appears and vanishes after a couple seconds. Permanent tracers too but not sure if thats datura related.
    
    Other than that i rarely hallucinated from smoking it. The terrible confusing semi delirius part happens around the same time as hallucinations and it feels like your brain is being cooked, but its hard to smoke that much with most plants.
    
    The story of the guy who went into the diner, chopped his dick off and covered himself in blood before trying to eat his severed dick kinda made me not want to ingest it.
    
    That and all the horrible trip reports from totse. Smoking it is safer, but can still cook your brain if not careful.
    
    
    Edit: tropane death sounds like a heck of a way to die though. Apparently celts used henbane to euthanize people.
