This is one part of Lukashenko’s bizarre plan to fight the disease. Belarus’ government, famously called “the last true remaining dictatorship in the heart of Europe”, views the virus as a false alarm. "Coronavirus is yet another psychosis, which will benefit some people and will harm others," Lukashenko said. He added “panic can hurt us more than the virus itself.”
Days before, the president recommended so-called “tractor therapy:” “people are working in tractors, no one is talking about the virus… There, the tractor will heal everyone. The fields heal everyone."
The strategy is opposite to recommended measures by the World Health Organization and other leading medical bodies.

I tell people all the time I never get sick with colds and shit because I drink liquor as soon as I start feeling bad to kill it and no one believes me

Alcohol does a lot of interesting stuff. Certain vitamins are absorbed by the body easier with alcohol. It may, in some cases, ward off cytokine storms, as well. Unfortunately it makes me psycho.
I could go on and on about it, dig up more evidence that it can help, but I can't be bothered at the moment
