It's a very clever term, because most whites don't want to be seen complaining. The phrase strikes at the heart of it. Progressive English is fascinating. They truly speak a different language to us.
Do progressive white people enioy operating under these narrow constraints? I suppose they find it noble. White people love pretending like everything is OK. Like the old meme of the chipper Brits on the WW1 battlefield "right oh old chaps *BANG!* ... oh I say Gerry's artillery shell just took my arm off, I'll slap a bandage on it and it'll be right! Pop the billy on!".
Another manifestation is found in how white Americans won't apply for welfare or government programs even when they qualify because they don't want to accept a handout.
It's dumb.
Meanwhile for instance, jedis always complain, even inventing things to complain about. They love the kvetch. jedi social bonding is two jedis complaining to each other, even making up complaints just to impress one another. It's the culture, I've seen it.
That's basically why they win. Whites won't admit they ever suffered, jedis won't admit they ever had a good day in their lives. Guess who gets the gibs. -
