I actually have both a Netflix and Amazon Prime Video subscription, but for more obscure titles I often have to resort to torrenting.
Just be forewarned that it's not like it was in the Golden age of piracy, they actually legit monitor that shit and fine people thousands of dollars now. -

If you use a VPN and change your location to Thailand for example you can get different and newer movies on Netflix

I use tor browsers for buying drugs and shit but routing all that traffic through multiple proxies while downloading an entire movie...
Or maybe I just don't fully comprehend how it works. -

Never had an issue with the speed, I have to use a VPN mostly when my ISP blocks my illegal channels when soccer is on
