    I've got 5 monitors myself and it still never feels like enough.

    None of them are that ultra wide type.

    I just want my entire wall to be a monitor.

    I actually did put a bunch of research into it before taking the Rift plunge.

    Apparently tons of people are having technical issues with it, but it actually the least bad one out there, from what I gather.

    I actually have an OpenVR headset from a few years ago. the only game I really enjoyed on it was Elite Dangerous

    also I really hate the standard VR controllers

    You have to start using your oculus so much even if you have to convince yourself that you love it in order to at least pretend that it is a superior alternative to teh liquor. A replacement addiction, if you will. I do this with video games and it does work. Sometimes.

    I know that like 99% of the VR use case is gaming, but I actually got mine mostly to fuck around with my own Three.js imagery.

    That, and maybe some 3d porn.

    And maybe some 3d games if I find one that interests me.
