Only 4 metallic elements can be magnetized at room temp

    Gadolinium,nickel,iron and Cobalt.

    Gadolinium has a curie temp of 68f, at this temp and above, it ceases to be attracted to magnetic fields

    There are others, but their magnetic fields are very, very weak.

    Technically, everything is somewhat paramagnetic. Maintaining a magnetic field, for an element, once the source is removed would be more ferromagnetism vs super-paramagnetic or plainly paramagnetic. What you're referring to is probably superparamagnetism or some other phenomena
