   With the advent of YouTube and Facebook most people now think of home video as posting a clip to a social media site.
   There however is a historic art form that is recording an hour or two hour video tape or dvd of your daily life or special events, these are called home movies.
   
   
   In the early 00s I discovered my obaasan's old camcorder and tapes, my life wouos never be the same.
   Since then I have had a passion for making home movies.
   I got my first camcorder in 2003 and used that up until it broke in late 2005/early 2006.
   Then in 2008 I got an HD digital camcorder.
   I have consistent footage from 2008 to 2020, I make sure to takr video whenever possible and I put them on bdrs in widescreen HD and DVDs in 4:3.
   
   This is my favorite thing in life next to Japan and video games.
