   I mean these days they're both cucked eurofagiphates. But traditionally, Austria had the higher culture. Also I like their accent better.

   Germany has much better bonuses than Austria but no unique buildings. Those half cost pikemen and a chance of converting barbarians is pretty cool because you don't have to spend production on them and can just keep upgrading them. I have gotten free archers doing this before.
