It fake because it's part of the EVENT 201 "simulation". They just want to see how people react to its "existence", compared to real COVID-19 medicines. This fake drug is known as "extranavir" in the "simulation". All they did was change a few letters. And notice how it's supposed to be a simulation, but they go out of their way to not only capitalize but bold the word "FICTIONAL", when it's supposed to be ALL fictional, so why would you have to make a point of calling a drug in the simulation fictional, when it's all supposed to be fictional? Reason being, everything in the simulation is actually real, so they had to say the drug is fictional, because it really is fictional in the real-world scenario.

The WHO said that because they didn't want people buying up the masks as medical professionals needed them and we did not have the supply chains to accommodate everyone who needed one. At that time they recommended homemade masks. Not no masks.
This is not the case with hydroxychloroquinine. There's plenty of it going around because doctors know it is useless. -

"There also is the issue that we have a massive global shortage," Ryan said about masks and other medical supplies. "Right now the people most at risk from this virus are frontline health workers who are exposed to the virus every second of every day. The thought of them not having masks is horrific."
Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove, an infectious disease epidemiologist with the WHO, also said at Monday's briefing that it is important "we prioritize the use of masks for those who need it most," which would be frontline health care workers.
