like mtgox, coinbase and all the others

I don't think they're actually any less credible than large-volume crypto traders

I'll probably build around this if I get the logic down

like are you saying you're gonna do something with my setup? like are you gonna build some algorythims to tell you when to buy and sell and then use RH to do so? im just a tad confused

I mean if and when I get around to writing an algorithm the first thing I'll do is simply run it against a stock ticker to see how well it performs, once I'm fairly happy with it a platform like robinhood is probably the easiest way to get started trading without having to deal directly with j'ews and j'ew bootlicks

It does seem unusual how susceptible crypto exchanges are to being "hacked".

I made a coinbase account and even after giving them twice as much personal info as was required for my passport, I'm still not cleared to use my account because my bank automatically blocked the test deposits, and my brother was half in charge there so I know they didn't do it on purpouse.

I just found that blockchain wallet has a buy/sell feature now with cc buys at 3% and direct deposits at .25% which is way better than I was getting before and I don't THINK I need more verification, but I don't know that for sure. Unfortunately they only offer buy in my state, which means I don't really know how or where to cash out.

I got 50 bucks in free XRM I traded instantly for btc from blockchain and they might still have that promotion going.. a wallet is really easy to get verified there, like 5-10 minutes and ID is all you need.

What I really need is a site where I can poll the daily average of the top ten crypto currencies.

A little googling turned up: https://www.cryptonator.com/api

I don't see historical data there but you could poll it every 30 seconds for a few days if you're planning on make a model out of a couple of days of trends.

    You could scrape this page:

    https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/historical-data/?start=20180807&end=20190807

for daily high/low/close data pretty easily.

I'm sure there's more granular historical data out there but that's what like 2 minutes of googling turned up

I went with the coinmarketcap API.

I started this project. So far it's just a few charts, buttons, and can get/save/load data. I'm looking for APIs that can actually trade though that don't require extensive sign up or cost. I've only found one.
