The same people protesting are not the same ones rioting. And besides, random civilians arent the ones who are supposed to uphold the law. Cops are. And they're abusing that power nationwide. -

Guns are exclusively for self defense, hunting/sport, and murder. That's what people use guns for. And the only reason you need them for self defense is because guns are legal in the first place. No guns, no reason to own one for self defense. -
