2020-06-26 at 5:10 AM UTC1920 american population was 1/4 of what it is now. Corona outbreak is more comparable to Hong Kong flu or Asian flu pandemics both of which killed around 60000 Americans. Not only is the population double since then, it's mostly increased in already densely populated areas. Add in the soft reporting requirements for a Corona virus death, and the statistic is even smaller. Then consider most of the deaths are from people in really fucking bad shape.
You're more likely to get in an accident, hooked on opioids and die from fentanyl than you are of corona virus. Unless you're immune system is already weak. -

I really don't mind though. Republicans tend to be older (with millenials leaning very largely to the left) and they also don't believe in masks, which is a great combo. Yeah yeah, the protests (RIOTS!!!!) but those tend to be the young people anyway, and they aren't as widespread as the belief that you don't need a mask.
Seriously just wear a fucking mask. Humans have known they worked since the goddamn 1300's. This was the purpose of those plague doctor masks. Sure, they thought filling the beak with herbs would purify the air you breathe, but at least they knew that breathing in the same air as those around you would lead you to get sick.

It is the norm of when being told not to do something for many people to act like 5 year olds by pouting or throwing a temper tantrum. The whole mask issue is another story. While I wear one I don't know if I want the government to have any more power they can corrupt than they already do. You could consider it though as a bit of a dress code like having to wear a shirt and shoes.

Yes, and? It's not like other diseases don't have the exact same shit happen when they count deaths. Like the flu, for instance. This is the way these metrics are calculated. If the doctor thinks covid-19 caused their death, they'll report it as such.
What the fuck is plain old 'dying of covid-19' anyway? That's not how it works. You have a heart attack, a stroke, etc, that is caused by the disease and the stress it puts on your body. It's not that hard to understand. You think it's bullshit? Take it up with the doctor who decided to report it as a covid-19 death.
Other states are HEAVILY under reporting as well and having sudden spikes in 'pnuemonia deaths'. Like Russia and Brazil and many other countries in denial that this virus is a serious threat.

It's worse than that. Not wearing a mask is like drunk driving. It's for selfish retards who don't care about others. Same as anyone wearing a ventilated N95 mask in public. -

And I walked in and the habib wearing a new mask behind a plastic wall while talking on the phone was like "wheres your mask!?" and I was like chill out I don't see why its issue now, I'll put it on next time or just not come here.
He was like "do you not worry?" and I was like "not about that" the guys weird anyways he probably came out of the womb backwards.
But i've never actually worn the mask but If I have to "cover up" I just use my jack daniels bandana. -

True. Take it straight from the horse's mouth. Doctor tells all... how they are logging everyone who walks through the front door with COVID-19. Gunshots, cancer, broken legs, heart attacks, doesn't matter what it is, every person that comes in with anything at all gets logged as having COVID-19.
