a lot of people have COVID antibodies indicating that it's both more infectious and less lethal than initially thought. I remember reading that one city in the US started testing people who were asymptomatic and found that something like 4x as many as they originally thought had the virus, just a large number of them didn't present any significant symptoms

    yea, something doesnt add up.

singapore had tens of thousands of new cases because tens of thousands were tested.

you couldnt be sure unless you have another twin that takes none of this and falls ill frequenly.

have you get your family tested ?

You do know these "tests kits" (PCR/Polymerase chain reaction) are notorious for producing false positives and if you even had the common flu before you would most probably test positive for COVID-19, even though you never had COVID-19, don't you?

Also, even the testing method is seriously flawed and practically useless... we actually do live in Clown World. A world run by mindless clowns.

Real-time PCR (qPCR) provides advantages including automation, higher-throughput and more reliable instrumentation. It has become the preferred method. The combined technique has been described as real-time RT-PCR or quantitative RT-PCR and is sometimes abbreviated qRT-PCR rRT-PCR or RT-qPCR, although sometimes RT-PCR or PCR are used. The Minimum Information for Publication of Quantitative Real-Time PCR Experiments (MIQE) guidelines propose the term RT-qPCR, but not all authors adhere to this.

Samples can obtained by various methods, including a nasopharyngeal swab, sputum (coughed up material), throat swabs, deep airway material collected via suction catheter or saliva. Drosten et al remarked that for 2003 SARS, "from a diagnostic point of view, it is important to note that nasal and throat swabs seem less suitable for diagnosis, since these materials contain considerably less viral RNA than sputum, and the virus may escape detection if only these materials are tested."

The likelihood of detecting the virus depends on collection method and how much time has passed since infection. According to Drosten tests performed with throat swabs are reliable only in the first week. Thereafter the virus may abandon the throat and multiply in the lungs. In the second week, sputum or deep airways collection is preferred.

Collecting saliva may be as effective as nasal and throat swabs, although this is not certain. Sampling saliva may reduce the risk for health care professionals by eliminating close physical interaction. It is also more comfortable for the patient. Quarantined people can collect their own samples. A saliva test's diagnostic value depends on sample site (deep throat, oral cavity, or salivary glands). One study found that saliva yielded greater sensitivity and consistency when compared with swab samples.

What does that matter to me ?! They're testing my blood researching for Covid studies, I'm losing nothing but plasma in the deal. $600+ in free cryo sessions, hell I'm up lol. My world hasn't stopped since this non-sense sparked.

4x? Try 50 times. 1/4 of New york got it, only a fraction of them exhibited symptoms. The government has been lying about this whole bullshit from the fucking beginning to justify the draconian police state theyre about to build. COVID is a fucking hoax, its literally indistinguishable from the common flu, your chances of dying from it are almost zero.

Thought it was something like a 98% survival rate for the people that actually got it

Also if you like trump so much why don't you suck his dick instead of the daily threads about him?

Fatality rate of 0.15% so thats a 99.85% survival rate. For anyone under 60, chances of this killing you is almost zero.

Yeah I thought it was that low, and like I said that low for the people that actually got infected which is also a minority, like 1% itself, so 1% of 1%.

crashing on meths gives you immunity to a lot of things. I don't even notice when I get sick anymore because I have anhedonia and feel like shit all the time.

    1% is a lot.

It's the leading cause of death in the US right now. Above car accidents, above cancer, above heart disease.

The flu never got that bad. And we're not even in the second wave yet, which is historically always the worst. I think something like 70% of people during the 1918 H1N1 epidemic died during that second wave.

I know someone who died form it. This shit is serious.

And even healthy people die anyway. This is why social distancing is important. It's not supposed to prevent you from ever getting it. It's supposed to reduce viral load and slow the spread so hospitals don't crumble under the pressure. People were sleeping on the floors in NY hospitals. If you think that shit is okay, I don't know what the fuck is wrong with you.

This has already killed 4x more people than the flu did at it's highest. More like 6x if you look at the average.
