My nigga never again pay for restaurant desi food. I guarantee it is going to be subpar compared to even what YOU could make at home, given the magic secret: Shan masala.
Head down to your favourite Indian store, look in their spice shelves, for these boxes labeled "SHAN". The only acceptable substitute is National, but you should still google the name of the dish + "Shan masala" and follow the recipe on Shan's site.
Literally 100x better than any Indian restaurant you will ever eat at. And the only thing it does is remove the asspain from mixing 15 different spices. You have to actually cook yourself. It's a perfect median.
My recommendations, in order:
Chicken Karahi
Bombay Biryani
Chicken Tikka

But yeah a lot of times im desperate for some masala or biryani or vindaloo but im too tored to cook and then i get it and ots bomb but i just spent like 37 bucks on 8 bucks worth of ingredients and i feel bad. Ralphs actually has a pretty great tikka masala jarred sauce that i used to use a lot too. -
